Overview
Mistakes happen — forgot to clock in, left a timer running overnight, or need to fix hours before submitting. Draft entries on the time card can be corrected before you submit the week for approval.
Where: Operations Portal → Time card (/ops/time)
Forgot to clock in
Use Log hours on the time card:
- Select Job or Activity (optional)
- Enter Hours and Date
- Add Notes (recommended)
- Save
The entry appears as draft until you submit the week.
Forgot to clock out
If you are still on the clock, you will see:
- A running timer on the banner and time card
- After ~12 hours, an amber Still clocked in since yesterday alert
Options:
| Action | Result |
|---|---|
| Adjust times | Set the actual clock-out date/time (defaults toward end of shift) |
| Clock out now | Uses the current time — may over-state hours if you forgot yesterday |
Prefer Adjust times when you know when you stopped working.
Edit a draft entry
- On the time card, find the entry (status draft)
- Tap Edit
- Update job/activity, date, hours, clock in/out times, or notes
- Save
Warning: Submitted, approved, or synced entries cannot be edited by workers. Ask your manager to reject the entry back to draft if a correction is still needed.
Submit week requirements
You cannot Submit week while:
- You are still clocked in on a live timer, or
- Any draft entry has an open clock (clock in without clock out)
Clock out or adjust those entries first.
Manager review
Managers see flags such as Long hours — review on pending approvals. They can approve or reject with a reason; rejected entries return to draft for you to fix.
